Inspired by a first year college editorial project about pollution, I used the phrase “polluted by single use plastic” to relay my message. This piece is entirely made with plastic bags which I screen printed both the phrase and an image of the earth on fire. All the bags were sewn together to make a jacket. This was to demonstrate how reusing plastic can be used in more creative ways than we think. This “trash” was made into a statement piece.
